1. Brazil  

Students travelled to Brazil to experience the unique culture, stunning beaches, and incredible sights. They were taken to the famous Sugarloaf Mountain, visited the Christ the Redeemer statue and the world-famous Copacabana Beach.

2. Dubai  

Students explored Dubai’s iconic skyline from the top of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, travelled in jeeps through the desert on safari and were able to ride the slides at the famous Atlantis Waterpark.

“I had a wonderful time in Dubai. I am so happy that I finally managed to travel abroad with all my friends. The excursions we took were amazing, especially the desert jeep safari. I had the best time ever. Dubai is an exciting city and I am so lucky that I got the chance to visit”  Victoria Janusauskaite

3. Netherlands  

Students travelled to the Netherlands to witness the inspiring Invictus Games plus took part in a boat tour of The Hague and an orienteering challenge in the city of Middelburg and kayaking.

4. Thailand  

Beauty and Catering students travelled to Thailand, where they learned about the country’s culture, visited an elephant sanctuary, and relaxed at Wonnapha Beach.

5. Finland 

Students braved the cold in Finland, taking part in activities like paddle boarding, mountain biking and abseiling. 

 “We’ve experienced so much on this trip. Staying in the outdoor cabins was really cool and jumping in the cold lakes is something I’ll always remember”  Anisha Patel

6. Iceland  

Students explored Iceland’s unique natural wonders, including the majestic Gullfoss waterfall  the Geysir hot springs and even took part in a northern lights hunt. 

“Iceland was an incredible experience; it’s a destination I wouldn’t have considered visiting, but I’m grateful I did. I’ve created memories that will last a lifetime.”   Ewan Ingram

 

7. Italy  

Students visited Italy for an international work placement, gaining real-world experience while discovering the country’s history and culture. Students also had free time to soak up the sun and explore the beautiful city, visiting museums and the iconic landmarks. 

“Everything I saw was like a historical painting, so beautiful and inspiring. I loved the culture of the city. I have never travelled abroad before and this trip has made me want to do a lot more travelling!”  Rachel McArdle said
