All 16-18 year old students can apply for a 16+ TfL Zip Card which gives you free or discounted travel. We can help you apply once you've enrolled.
At New City College, our dedicated careers teams provide us with specialist support to enable us to progress to high-quality destinations, such as universities, apprenticeships or employment.
All students receive careers advice and guidance. You can make an appointment with one of the advisors during college hours and they have lots of resources on hand to help.
We provide individual advice and guidance sessions on how to apply for an apprenticeship or a training programme, as well as choosing a university course and how to apply through UCAS.

Enrichment.
You may know ‘enrichment’ as extra curricular activities. Enrichment is a fantastic way to get involved in college life.
Each campus encourages all students to get involved in its enrichment programme, to meet new people, have fun, experience new activities, develop skills and make new friendships. The best thing is, you can make it what you want. As well as staff organised clubs and teams, students often develop their own programmes and clubs based on their interests and hobbies.
What would you like to see in your enrichment programme?
From sports and societies to events and volunteering there is always something to get involved in. Whatever your interests, you will have the chance to meet new people, try new things, boost your CV and most importantly- have fun! Our current enrichment programme includes:
Residential trips (Paris, Berlin, Barcelona)
Sports activities, clubs and tournaments
Talent shows and concerts
Day trips (like paintballing, bowling and Go-karting)
Student Union and Ambassador programme
International Trips.
NCC value the importance of international trips and work experience. We have been to so many amazing destinations and have plenty more planned for 2023
Why is international travel important?
gets you out of your comfort zone
inspires your creativity and craft
gives you independence
opportunity to meet new people
allows you to learn about new cultures and languages
Where have we been?
Travel hasn’t been the easiest thing to do lately, but NCC have still managed to explore the globe!
