Top tips
Show your creative journey, not just your final piece!
Admissions tutors want to see how you think and problem-solve. Include sketches, moodboards, contact sheets, editing experiments, and rough drafts. Show how your work evolves from first ideas to finished pieces—it’s about the story, not just the ending!
1
Demonstrate your range and personal style
Mix it up—include different styles, techniques, and themes across both graphic design and photography. Show that you can be versatile but also have a clear creative voice. Personal projects are gold—use them to show what you love outside of coursework!
2
Present your portfolio clearly and professionally
First impressions matter. Organise your work neatly, use clean layouts, and label everything clearly. A tidy, easy-to-follow portfolio shows that you’re serious, organised, and ready for the next level of your creative journey.
