Create a learning diary.

It is vital to develop good study habits, and one aspect of this is the way you capture and organise your learning.

As you go through this study pack, you need to note down your thoughts and learning so that you can refer to it later. You can do this in a variety of ways. For instance, you may wish to use a notepad and pen and make a hard copy of notes. Some people like to build themselves online portfolios, and there are lots of free resources that you could investigate to do this.

Our recommendation is that you use OneNote for your Learning Diary, which is part of the Office 365 suite of software. If you have an Outlook account then OneNote is available to you. It is a digital notebook - some of you may already be using it.

Tip:  Create a notebook called Learning Diary, and then add three sections
(the third video shows you how):

  1. Research for My Future

  2. Study Skills

  3. Mindset

Then within each section you will be able to create separate pages for each activity.
